Tangerine dreams and marmalade promises,
Dashed cruel fear creeping up like ebony widows.
Bitter citrus betwixt my lips gave us no hope.
Sweet nothings stood no chance against
My hesitant somethings.
No relief was drawn from this spring of finality
Only remorse sloshed down my throat, unsparingly.
For my blind eye I deserve to be mocked in return.
I deserve the pin pricks of punishment.
You gave all and I gave... some.
We are now two split entities polarized,
Living as closely as one planet to another,
Close enough to see but too far to reach.
Screams are lost in the vast ambiguity of your space
And if you ever see these writ words,
Know of my regret.
